Zari Hassan and her husband, Shakib Lutaaya, have openly criticized detractors who predict the end of their marriage.

The couple recently shared a candid conversation about their relationship, addressing the negative comments and urging people to refrain from judging them based on their pasts.

During a heartfelt interview, Zari and Shakib addressed claims that their marriage, which took place in 2023 in South Africa, is doomed to fail.

“They claim I have slept with many men, but I cannot testify. People change when they meet someone. They no longer do what they used to do,” Zari stated, emphasizing that personal growth and change are possible.

Their wedding was a lavish affair, attended by numerous African celebrities, including Zari’s close friends and several stars from the reality TV show Young, Famous & African.

Zari and Shakib’s union was celebrated by close friends and family members, reflecting their deep connection and commitment.

The couple’s message is clear: their marriage is built on a solid foundation, and they are committed to staying together despite the criticism.

“People change when they meet someone special. They no longer do what they used to do,” Zari reiterated, underscoring their determination to prove their detractors wrong.
