Renowned Nollywood actor Yul Edochie who is also a politician took to social media to express his gratitude to his father, a veteran actor Pete Edochie for raising him up to be the best man he is today.
Yul Edochie had nothing but praises for his dad for raising his six children correctly preparing them to tackle anything that comes at them in the future.
The actor disclosed that his dad always placed them first before anything and/or anyone else remembering that at a certain time when he was younger, his dad only had four pairs of trousers.
Yul Edochie for the first time told the entire world how his father always put his family first making sure that they don’t lack anything while instilling life’s teaching on them.
In a reverie moment, Yul who intends to be the next Nigerian President in the near future disclosed that his father would always see to it that their nyash were on fire if they came back home with something that wasn’t theirs.
One thing that his dad said that stuck with him over the years was when Chief Pete Edochie once said, “if I give my children the best training and the best education they will survive anywhere and they’ll never lack and I will be a fulfilled father”

This is what Yul Edochie, now a father himself, had to say about his dad to its entirety thanking him and his mother raising their six children to be good, upright people in the society touching on people’s lives while changing them in a positive light:
“At a time, while raising us his six children, this great man had only 4 pairs of trousers; Black, brown, blue, and grey. But he never cared.
He hardly bought new things for himself. All he cared about was taking care of his family and giving his children the best.
Then he was a civil servant before the movies came. There wasn’t much money but he would never take anything that doesn’t belong to him.
Then if we come back from school with anyone’s pen or book, your nyash go catch fire for him hand.
Amongst many other things, my parents taught us to be content with whatever we have, work hard, believe in God and be upright citizens.
All he kept on saying was this ‘if I give my children the best training and the best education they will survive anywhere and they’ll never lack and I will be a fulfilled father’.
Now that I’m older, with each passing day I appreciate you and mum so much more.
