“Uko kwa kanisa na ashu mkononi” is a phrase that every Nairobian can relate to because this Necessary Noize’s jam was on every one lips on the early 2000s (The group was formed in 2000) when the Kenyan music industry was just budding. Necessary Noize which used to comprise of the African Superman, Bamzigi and The First Lady, Nazizi and The Love Child, Wyre helped in the upcoming of Kenyan music and making Kenyans appreciate their own music. They released their debut album way back in the same year they debut, 2000 which was self-titled.

Bamzigi left the group because of personal disputes

Right now though, Necessary Noize only has two members, Nazizi and Wyre and together they have done the unthinkable together, they even formed a group with the Ugandan musician, Bebe Cool called The East African Bashment Crew and together they released smash hits together that got played not only in the country but the whole of east Africa. They disbanded temporarily though and from the looks of it, they might never really be disbanded.

fluently, do you.
