Rachel Mwangi took to social media to make it clear that the issue between herself and Nick Mutuma had been put to bed and even moved on past the situation.

“In 2016, there was an incident between Nick Mutuma and I, that my partner Koome Gitobu posted on social media in November 2017.” she went on.
Nick Mutuma breaks silence over sexual assault allegations
Rachel Mwangi went on to clarify that Nick Mutuma had reached out to her and her partner and that they had resolved the issued amicable, and privately in 2017, the same year her partner came forward with the viral Twitter thread.
“Nick Mutuma reached out to us shortly after, and we resolved it amicably and privately in 2017.”
Rachel’s tweet read in part. “I want to be very clear; I would never allow the voices of any victims to be silenced.
I believe in accountability and I believe that any person that perpetrates any form of violence or assault must be held accountable. However, this is not such an incident.”
I stand by my partner, I stand by her statement and I would hope that you all do the same.
