Wizkid got international recognition when Chris Brown went to Nigeria a few years back for a performance and met him and Wizkid taught him how to do the Azonto dance after which they became good friends and they have been good of friends since then.
Wizkid however, got international acclamation through music courtesy of Drake’s record ‘One Dance’ which featured him and Kyla and peaked at number 1 in billboard top 100 in 10 weeks.
After that, Wizkid the Starboy international artiste was born and he was on everyone’s mouth globally and even has worked with international artistes like Vybz Kartel, Wale, Justine Skye, Ciara, Tinashe, Future, Chris Brown, French Montana, Major Lazer and Dua Lipa.
Recently, the African pop artiste added Diddy as in his long lists of international friends when he met him the other day where Diddy promised to visit Nigeria sooner rather than later and he will be with Wizkid of course.
Diddy said this on video where he shared on his Instagram account which has over 11 million followers. Wizkid was also in this short video shared by Diddy who referred to Nigeria as home.
