Willy Paul is currently on top of the world thanks to welcoming his first daughter and his second child into the world with his Russian girlfriend, Viktoriya Shcheglova.
That notwithstanding, The ‘Aaaih’ hitmaker is forever grateful to World DJ Champion, DJ Puffy after the deejay played his recent offering, ‘Aaaih’ that features Gengetone’s true prospect, Rekless.
Willy Paul told his haters and naysayers they don’t hold a candle to him because one of the top deejays in the world recognizes him and played his song which isn’t an easy accomplishment to arrive at.
I’m the only artiste who gets international airplay. I mean the world’s biggest DJ played my song ‘Aaaih’ featuring Rekles” Willy Paul said.
Willy Paul went on to send a personal thank you to DJ Puffy for playing his song on an international level in his show on the Slam 101.1 FM radio.
“Anyway, a big thank you to DJ Puffy, that’s what’s up, the biggest DJ in the world. The winner of Red Bull worldwide competition. I know artistes are hurt,” he added.

DJ Puffy actually started out his Afrobeats Session set with Willy Paul and Rekles’s hit record ‘Aaaih’ and Willy Paul is stoked since he’s the first Kenyan artiste to have the privilege of getting played by the Red Bull 3Style’s Champion which is actually an accomplishment because it’s the world’s largest global DJ competition.

Willy Paul is evidently on his own lane that clearly no other Kenyan artiste is on. To get played in a Barbados radio station isn’t something to take lightly for any artiste, established or not.
