The widow of the late Dr. Robert Ouko, Christabel Ouko has died in an accident along the Kisumu Kericho road.
The accident happened in Muhoroni.
Christabel was on her way from the swearing-in ceremony of Kisumu Governor Anyang Nyong’o at Kenyatta Sports Ground.
The driver lost control near Rai Cement Factory next to Muhoroni junction and the car rolled several times.
Christabel died at Siolam Hospital in Kericho where she had been taken.
Robert Ouko was a Foreign Affairs minister who was brutally killed during the Moi era and hisbody burnt beyond recognition.
