Lillian Ng’anga’s husband Julius Owino popularly known as Juliani has admitted that he is facing financial challenges.

Juliani however noted that he is not yet bankrupt while speaking in a video he released on Wednesday afternoon September 21, 2022, through social media.

He explained that the challenges he is facing are due to the large amount of money he has spent on his projects in the past.

“In the last three years, I’ve been putting my money into everything I’ve done. I don’t have sponsors, I don’t have investors, I don’t have anything. I’ve kept a little bit of my money for that,” he said in a video he uploaded to Twitter.

The rapper hinted that he even took on several debts in an effort to complete some of his projects.

He also revealed that the financial challenges he is currently facing have caused him to miss the time to be with his son while thanking his wife and co-parent Lilian Nganga for understanding him.

“I can’t find time with my son now because I’m struggling here and there trying to pay the debts I took to fulfill several things that I promised myself to fulfill. I’m very grateful to my mother (Lilian) for understanding what I’m trying to do,” he said.

“If you see me struggling, I’m not doing it, I’m not doing it all for myself. I’m fine, there’s a roof over me, I can feed myself but I have my dreams,” he added.

He mentioned some of his resolutions as creating 10,000 jobs, providing loans to artists and releasing more music. He said that he has given himself 10 years to fulfill the dream he has for his community.

“The money that I have been investing for the past five years has not brought profit yet,” he said.

He also expressed his dismay at people making fun of his current condition and asked them to stop.

Previously, the artist posted a message asking for help raising his child with his wife Lilian Nganga.

In his joke post on Wednesday morning, Juliani claimed to be bankrupt and asked Kenyans to donate money to buy diapers for his youngest son through Mpesa. He introduced himself as a struggling rapper and entrepreneur.

“Wase! I’m sorry I’m BROKE! I need pampers.. Please send me money. Pay with M-PESA 784577, Account- Juliani,” he wrote.

He concluded “Anything you can do will help. It’s yours, I’m a struggling rapper/entrepreneur,” he twitted.

The rapper’s joke message followed many rumors and fake news about his financial capabilities that have been published on social media in recent days.
