Award-winning investigative journalist Dennis Okari works have left the Nation Media Group.
He was the news and Special Projects Editor for NTV.
Dennis Okari quit comes a few days after Mark Masai’s exit.
Dennis Okari, like Mark Masai, says this is just the beginning of greater things to come.
“My assignment at NTV has come to an end. I’m grateful to God for the opportunity to serve.
I gave it my all, but I couldn’t have done it without the help of an incredible team and an amazing audience.
It’s time to move on to something bigger and greater than myself” says Okari via a now-viral tweet.
It’s not clear if he was fired.
Mark Masai has commented on Okari’s exit saying, “One of the best from any investigation desk in this country, region, and continent. Onwards, forwards and to the world my brother @DennisOkari.”
Kenyans are now wondering what’s going on at Nation Media Group after two of their best talent exit one after another in a difference of days.
Dennis Okari says he’s moving on to something bigger and greater.
