I could’ve have thwarted any claims that Benedicta Gafah had body issues back in the day when she was growing if she didn’t put it out there for the whole world to know.
I mean the talented Ghanaian actress is so beautiful with unfathomable curves that drives men crazy all over Africa if not the whole world. Benedicta opened up via an Instgram post about how hard it was growing up and how much she hated her body because she wanted to be a model and her body used to disappoint her which made her hate it.
“Growing up I always wanted to be a model, so much so that I literally used to starve in order to lose weight. I wanted to be a size 8 at all cost and I went to great lengths in a bid to achieve that dream. I hated myself so much, especially my plumpy body. There were many times I felt my body was just being “stubborn” and preventing me from becoming great😫😫😫.” Benedicta Gafah said in part.
After battling out with low self esteem for while, she eventually began to love herself and her body and appreciate the fact that beauty comes in all shapes and everything.
“But I eventually had to accept myself and the fact that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and forms. And that one could be size 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and so on and still look beautiful, especially when it is coupled with a beautiful heart and a positive mindset.” She continued.
After all of what she went through, she made up her mind that she was going to live her life in a positive light and appreacite herself more because we all were created in the image and likeness of God regardless of how one look.
“Your pretty face and beautiful body could easily attract people to you but your good heart and character will endear you to people and allow them to enjoy your company, At one point in time or the other, we may feel a bit insecure about certain things in our life or certain parts of our body but guess what, that is what makes us all unique and beautiful in our own special way.
