I know most of you might have listened to Xtatic for the first time at the Khaligraph Jones’ ‘Khali Cartel 2′ or a few years before that when she was signed to Sony without knowing that she has been in the rap game for a while, actually even when she was still in High School.

With the hash tag dubbed ’10 years Challenge’ currently trending on social media not only in the country but almost everywhere, Xtatic who is now happily married to a most sought after videographer, Mushking told us an open secret that not most of us knew.

Apparently back in the day she was in a rap competition dubbed ‘Emcee Africa 2’ back in 2009 when she was still in High School and on that competition, respected and prolific rappers, Khaligraph Jones and Lon Jon were a part of it.

Taking to social media, Xtatic reminded us how far she has come from and how she has not forgotten her roots or where she started it all.

“Before I proceed, msinianze na story za “wharrathose?” Ni loafers, my friends, ni loafers. 200, Emcee Africa 2. I was still in high school, and  didn’t even know what I would have done if I proceeded forward since AIN’T NO WAY my dad would’ve let me do ati rap competition. However, I wasn’t even there to battle or anything. I was just going to be part of the crowd until @buddhablazeworld signed me up. And he was joking until I heard my name being called.” Xtatic captioned her throwback photo of herself on stage at the ‘Emcee Africa 2’ rap competition back in 2019.

Clearly we have learned that Buddha Blaze played a major role in her career and he is one of the people who believed in her in the rap game back in the day when she was coming up rap’s protégé.

On the same competition, Khaligraph Jones and Lon Jon were some of the competing upcoming rappers and she shared a photo of herself with the two prolific rappers in the game today at the same competition.

“Marapper Ni marapper kweli. We always gotta be G even when we awarded. You would think we all got slapped or something. Kutoka, tumoetoka fardhest.” she added as she shared the photo of herself together with other men in the competition. It’s important to note that she was the only female rapper in the lot. Xtatic has clearly been holding down the rap game way before anybody knew who she really was or that she was loyal to the rap game from the beginning.
