Wendy Kemunto is one powerful woman who has lived to tell her truth about her horrible ordeal that she went through early last year on her birthday where she was gang-raped with two rugby players.
Wendy Kemunto has since come forward to tell other people who might have gone through the same experience that everything is okay if you put God first.
Not putting herself first, Wendy Kemunto decided to write a song together with one-third member of H_art The Band, Mordecai “Dex” Mwini dubbed ‘Huru’ which is Swahili that means ‘To Be Free’ to inspire, encourage, give strength to the people who might have gone through something that they seem they wouldn’t overcome.
“‘HURU’ A Swahili word that means ‘To be Free’.
A song to inspire, encourage and let you know that whatever darkness you feel you are trapped in you have the power and strength to overcome, Rise and Be Free.” she explained the reason/s behind her latest song, ‘Huru’.
Wendy has since become an advocate of women’s rights championing against any type of violence against women that most women are usually forced to go through in silence.
Her latest song which he released the visuals for the same just a couple of hours back is an uplifting song that most if not all women who have gone through any form of violence should listen to, it’s bound to give them strength, encourage them to never stay silence at all.
