Wema Sepetu has revealed that she is still hurt after her mother Mariam Sepetu yelled at her in public during her birthday party held last week.
Exactly a week after the incident, Wema Sepetu took to social media to express the pain she was still feeling after her mother criticized her relationship with Whozu.
Wema shared a note reading; “I don’t think the healing process ever ends. I just think there comes a time when you decided that your wounds aren’t going to stop you from becoming the person you want to be. Self love is a lifelong journey and sometimes harder than others. You just have to commit.
Wema Sepetu first spoke of the pain she felt days after her mother gave her a tongue-lashing.

When Mariam was given the chance to give a speech during her daughter’s party. She angrily denounced Wema’s relationship with Whozu, noting that she did not bless the union.
Wema Sepetu termed the night her worst birthday ever while noting that she did not enjoy it at all, contrary to her original intention.
