Wema Sepetu has been struggling to get pregnant for many years ever since she procured at least two abortions killing her unborn babies who were fathered by late actor Steven Kanumba.
However, a video of Wema Sepetu looking ‘pregnant’ making rounds on social media raised eyebrows.
In the video, the creator compiled several of the Tanzanian actress’s photos that had been edited to make her look like she had a baby bump.
“Wema Sepetu One day,” the caption of the video read.
Referring to the video, the actress however said that it got her emotional but did not dismiss the wishes of the video creator.
Wema Sepetu clarified that she is not yet expectant but urged her beloved fans to continue praying for her.
“Alietengeneza hii kajua kuniliza …. Ila hata mawazo huumba ryt…??? Its the thought that counts… Jamani naulizwa sana na watu kama ni mjamzito… Jibu ni Hapana wapenzi… Ila tuzidi kuomba… Inshallah…🤲🏼🤲🏼🤲🏼Ya ‘ AllahYa ‘ AllahYa ‘ Allah Mekuita Mara Tatu,” she said on Instagram.
A while back, Kanumba’s mother Flora Mutegoa dismissed the notion that actress Wema Sepetu is not having a child due to the curse spoken by her late son.
The late Steven Kanumba’s curse is mostly blamed for Wema’s infertility.
In an interview with Global TV Online, Mutegoa said that Wema and her are good friends and every day she prays to God to give her a family but also a child – something that Wema has been needing for a long time now.
In 2020, Wema Sepetu was overwhelmed with emotions during her show – ‘Cook with Wema Sepetu’ after Kanumba’s mother Mutegoa spoke to her about her son’s curse.
Ms Mutegoa said her son told her that he cursed Wema after she aborted two of his pregnancies back then when they were still dating.
