The Machakos gubernatorial seat contestant, Wavinya Ndeti was disqualied earlier this week by The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for vying for the Machakso seat because she was allegedly registered to two political parties which is not allowed in the constitution.

The news of Wavinya Ndeti’s dismissal caused an online uproar with many memes and jest aimed at her favor but it has been short-lived as the High Court of Kenya has thus suspended IEBC’s decision to lock out Wavinya Ndeti out of Machakos gubernatorial race come August 8th 2017. Judge George Odunga on Friday ordered the electoral commission to include her name in the gazette notice on candidates vying in the August polls without failure. Wavinya Ndeti will go head to head with the incumbent governor Alfred Mutua come the official polls day.

” I am bonafide member of Wiper Democratic Movement, hii ni siasa lakini najua Mungu atafungua. Wananisumbua lakini najua kuna Mungu …” Wavinya Ndeti said

Wavinya Ndeti made it official that she was indeed included and cleared to run for the gubernatorial seat on the August 8th 2017 after she tweeted officially these two tweets today

Speaking to Daily Nation, Wavinya Ndeti had this to say;

Wavinya Ndeti went on to attack IEBC chairman, Wafula Chebukati by claiming that the news the IEBC shared that she won’t be on the ballot come August 8th 2017 lead him to his death.

 “Chebukati has caused my brother his life without following the due process …” Wavinya Ndeti added
