On Wednesday October 30th 2019, Diamond Platnumz invited Alikiba to Dar es Salaam edition of Wasafi Festival, but Kiba responded saying that Diamond should stop bothering him over and over again when it was clear that he was not interested in his festival.
Alikiba also threatened to expose Diamond for the bad things he claims the Wasafi CEO had been doing to him if he does not stop bothering him.
Responding to Alikiba’s post, Diamond said he has no idea what his rival meant when he said that he would expose him. The ‘Inama’ hit maker further stressed that he respects Alikiba and that he can’t have a beef with him.

Wasafi top boss Babu Tale has since come out to respond to Alikiba’s threatening message to Diamond. Tale noted that Diamond and the whole Wasafi family will no longer even mention Alikiba’s name.
“Amesema unikome, na mimi nimemkoma, hata kumzungumzia, tumemkoma,” said Babu Tale during an interview with Wasafi FM.
Speaking on internal wrangles within the Wasafi, Babu Tale said that conflicts are inevitable in all organizations and that success is pegged on how people solve their conflicts.
“Maisha magumu. Mtu akikuangalia hivi nje, anaweza akasema these guys are enjoying their life. Tunagombana sisi team mzima. Yaani, mimi naeza nikagombana na Diamond siku mbili. Nimesafiri na Diamond Marekani masaa kumi na tano, hatuongei. Kwanza kuishi na Salam (fellow Wasafi manager) ni sehemu ya kugombana. Lazima mgombane. Kwa sababu yeye ni mtu anayeamini msimamo wake. Mafanikio ni sehemu ya vita. Mi ni mmoja kati ya watu waliofanikiwa. Kwa hiyo nikipigwa vita, nasema, sio vita, ni sehemu ya mafanikio. Naushukuru mziki sana,” said Babu Tale.
