Renowned media personality Wanja Nyarari has sparked a social media firestorm after filming a raw and bitter confrontation with her cousin, whom she accused of trespassing on her property to carry out “witchcraft” activities.
In a video recorded live on Thursday, February 5, 2026, a furious Wanja is seen lambasting the relative, who she claims abandoned her professional duties to bring family drama to her doorstep.
The exchange turned bizarre when Wanja alleged that the cousin’s mother had previously been caught in a degrading act at her home’s entrance.
“Mamako akakuja hapa kukojoa at my gate, at my gate. Very shameful,” Wanja yelled, claiming the aunt had “confessed with her own mouth” to the act.
The media star, who has long hinted at friction within her extended family, told the intruder that she was well aware of the animosity directed toward her.
“You just confessed here that you people hate me, fine I have lived with it since I was a baby,” she said while filming the cousin. “Ati sasa kazi yangu isimame ju yako? (So now my work should stop because of you?)”
Wanja expressed disbelief that a civil servant would risk their reputation to trespass.
“You’ve left your husband’s house to come here in my compound… Yani umeandikwa na ministry ya serikali, badala uende ukafanyie serikali kazi unatoa miguu uko kukuja in my compound. Are you ok?”
During the heated live recording, Wanja addressed the “witchcraft” suspicions that often surround such family intrusions in the region, focusing on the shameful behavior of the cousin’s mother.
“Your mother was here urinating in my compound. Ohhh my friend, she confessed with her own mouth that she was going to the toilet here,” Wanja added, dismissing the excuse as a cover for more sinister motives.
Wanja made it clear that she is no longer interested in keeping family secrets, telling the relative, “You just live hating me, you don’t have to come and rub it on my face.”
The video has divided opinion online, with some fans praising Wanja for standing her ground against toxic relatives, while others are shocked by the level of “dirty linen” being aired in public.
