Raila Odinga has met Uhuru Kenyatta for the first time since the Supreme Court nullified the results of August 8th presidential election.
Raila and Uhuru met at Kiambu during the funeral service of former Nairobi Mayor Samuel Mbugua – the father of former Nairobi Women Rep Rachael Shebesh.
The Nasa leader who arrived late at the funeral, went to greet his rival Uhuru and other leaders before he sat down on the same row with the president.
Kaimbu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja, Kiambu Town MP Jude Njomo, former Nyadarua Governor Waithaka Mwangi and several other Jubilee leaders were president.
Uhuru and his Jubilee brigade are enraged by Supreme Court decision to nullify Uhuru’s win, they are also pissed off by Raila’s threat to boycott October repeat election unless his demands are met.
But today there was no animosity whatsoever when Raila met Uhuru and other Jubilee leaders at the burial of Shebesh’s father.
