The year has kicked off on a high note for Kenya’s underground hip hop scene and almost all Kenyan hip hop enthusiasts are looking forward to the highly anticipated project dubbed ‘Haitaki Hasira’ by Wakadinali’s Domani Munga slotted to be dropped anytime soon.
Two members of Wakadinali; Domani Munga and Sewer Sydaa flying the Rong Rede banner, their clique joined forces together with yet another formidable Kenyan rap group MamboGrand to release a record dubbed ‘Over Kill’.
The record ‘Over Kill’ has a traditional setting of a rap cypher which showcases rap prowess of each and every rapper taking turns to spit their game once his turn comes around.
Collectively there are 7 rappers involved on the ‘Over Kill’ record which is produced by Alex Vice and each and every rapper talks about a lot of stuff that your typical rapper might be scared to talk about.

The rappers involved on the record are Nunda Malick, Sewer Sydaa, Sir Bwoy, K.O Mambogrand, Domani Munga, Calivah, Mic 1 Eazy in appearance respectively.
The ‘Over Kill’ record has proved that the Kenyan rap scene has an untapped talent that needs to go mainstream already, just like Khaligraph Jones said in Lagos, Nigeria earlier on this year, “the East has something to say indeed!”.
