Sultry singer Vivianne Wambui Ndirangu aka Vivian has finally addressed the news of her ex-husband, motivational speaker Sam West, preparing to walk down the aisle, insisting she holds no bitterness and has entered a new “season” of her own life.
The former power couple, whose highly publicised relationship ended in 2023, are now both moving on, with Sam West preparing for his wedding in the coming days and Vivianne embracing life as a new mother in America.
Speaking candidly with Milele FM presenter Ankali Ray, Vivian made it clear that she supports her ex-partner’s decision to remarry.
“Of course, life has to move on and I have also been blessed with a child; I have been abroad and now I’ve come back to visit a little,” Vivian told the presenter when asked if she was happy for Sam and his new fiancée, Precious West.
The singer, who moved to the US after her separation from Sam West, spoke philosophically about their breakup, framing it as the natural end of a chapter.
“We live in seasons; once a certain season ends, you cannot bring the dead back to life. But you stand up and say, let us move forward, and everyone should do what makes them happy,” she declared, underscoring her decision to release the past.
Vivian and Sam West were together since 2016, holding a traditional wedding in 2018 before their relationship—which involved Sam serving as her manager—ended acrimoniously amidst reports of “pent-up anger” and “a lot of betrayals.”
Meanwhile, motivational speaker Sam West is moving forward with newfound confidence and faith.
He confirmed that the glamorous photos circulating online were only of his engagement to Precious West, and the main wedding ceremony is just days away.
Sam confirmed the highly anticipated wedding, treating it not just as an event, but as a “spiritual milestone.”
“At the right time, the Bible says each one of us will have a mate, no one will miss someone,” Sam told Ankali Ray, emphasising that his new marriage is grounded in God’s timing.
He stressed the importance of building his new union on the right foundation, declaring: “We are telling God to help us because it is a very good thing to do something the way of God; you ensure the marriage starts on a good foundation, we do not repeat the mistakes of the past.”
For Vivian, who is currently dividing her time between Kenya and America, has revealed she was blessed with a baby boy during her time abroad.
“God has blessed me with a baby boy named Jasiri,” she proudly announced, though she remains highly protective of her current love life.
“When I am ready, I will tell you, but know that I am currently a Kenya-America resident—that is my life,” she concluded, making it clear that both ex-partners have truly begun their new, separate seasons.
