Seasoned music producer-cum-singer Visita has been completely broke since 2021 when he first publicly pleaded for assistance to pay rent.
Visita is the music producer behind hits like Fimbo Chapa and Kamua Leo. He also boasts of ‘Mapepo’ hit song.
In May 2021, Visita publicly asked members of the public for financial assistance after he failed to pay rent for his Roysambu apartment.
Visita’s situation hasn’t improved from 2021 to date. He recently opened up about his woes while speaking during an interview with Mwafreeka Mwaf on his Iko Nini podcast.
The broke music producer blamed legendary music mogul Noah Yusuf alias Refigah for his financial mess.
Visita claimed Refigah owes him a lot of money, revealing that he refused to pay him his dues while working at Grandpa Records.
Refigah owns Grandpa Records where Visita worked. However in December 2022, Rafigah announced he was retiring from music and diverting his energy towards farming.
In an interview with Radio Maisha, the Grandpa boss revealed that he has already appointed a new CEO and team that will help push the label’s dream to greater heights.
Visita lamented that Refigah completely ruined his life after refusing to pay him. He claimed that at the moment he is struggling to make ends meet, going without food for days.
“Ever since nko huku Nairobi, I have been struggling to survive bro. Ata as we speak si jokes today is my fourth day sijadishi, si jokes. But hainishtui ju nishazoea ata ukiniuliza mbona nimekonda,” Visita said.
