the goddess Viola Karuri

I know most of you didn’t know so let me let in on a little something, Viola Karuri is half Tanzanian. Well, I thought you should know.

Viola Karuri employs the talented talent of Tanzanian crooner Barnaba -who recently released his album GOLD successfully- to release a new single dubbed ‘Leo’ which was written by Barnaba and performed by the two artistes.

The song ‘Leo’ which was produced by JHightable sound and Ogopa Inc talks about love, gives tribute to Viola Karuri’s heritage but more importantly it talks about a real genuine love that is so unfathomable it can’t be explained by mere words. Kind of love that gives so good but hurt so bad.

Shot in Tanzania and directed by the legendary video director, Lucas Bikedo of Ogopa Inc, Leo music video boasts alluring visuals that ooze that African feeling without trying so hard, as expected.
