Shakilla isn’t impressed with Jux saying he doesn’t know who she is.
Jux who went to Kenya to perform alongside Otile Brown on February 14, Valentine’s Day claimed that he doesn’t know who Shakilla really is when he was asked by Mseto Africa’s host, TV, and radio presenter Mzazi Willy Tuva.
Jux said he doesn’t know who Shakilla is and from the way he was talking, he seemed genuine about it, no malice whatsoever could be picked on his response to Mzazi Willy Tuva.
A few days, a few hours after landing in Kenya, Jux met up with Shakilla who took her phone out and recorded a short video of herself hanging out with Jux inside a red-lit room giving the impression of knowing the singer.
Jux shut her down without any intentions to hurt her feelings, he considered her like any other fan who he took photos and videos with that day.
“You know when I came here on Thursday[11th February], Friday, nilikuwa na special appearance. Before show yangu nilifanya special appearance mbili za club.” Jux said on the live Citizen radio interview in part.
He added;
“Hiyo siku wakati nafanya hiyo club appearance kulikuwa na wasichana wengi sana wanakuja kupiga picha na mimi nilikuwa nimekaa hiyo sehemu ya VIP hapo. So nimepiga nao picha, wanawake tofauti tofauti lakini muda huo huo nikaonyeshwa na my Manager, nikaonyeshwa na mtu kwamba kuna blog imeandika kuna msichana wameniona naye. She’s just a fan, nadhani hiyo video aliipost, maybe, sijui ilikuwaje,”
Shakilla who didn’t take Jux’s response of not knowing her sitting down went for his jugular claiming that the only reason/s why Kenyans even showed up for the show was because Kenyan artistes were performing.
Otile Brown, Nikita Kering’, Samidoh, and of course Jux were booked for the show that went down on Valentine’s Day at 14th Royal Gardenia, Kiambu road.
Shakilla claims Eric Omondi is not “holding” as people perceive
Shakilla went further and stooped low even further calling out Jux for not having his recent offering dubbed ‘Mapepe’ that he released a few days ago not being among the top 50 trending songs on YouTube in Kenya today.
“I’ve been holding back for long and people think that I’ve become a weakling. Someone remind that man am from Kenya and I don’t take disrespect lightly. You carried yourself as a celebrity moved from club to club, different media houses, did interviews hyping your song but one caught my attention. You mentioned me, I lowered my standards and broke rule #17 of the streets, never force a picture with a public figure, and may the streets forgive me for what am about to do.” Shakilla shared on social media in part.
She went on to add;
“I might not have a million followers or whatever you termed as your team but why ain’t that song on $50 trending?
I never asked you to claim to know me but now you shall be forced to. And ps many went to the show cause our own was performing!”
