Speaking to an entertainment show on a local TV station, Akothee’s eldest daughter Vesha Shilian Okello said she approves of everything her mother does.
When she was asked about her thoughts on the incident that happened in the UK a few weeks ago during Akothee’s performance;
“I personally don’t see anything wrong with what she wore; I believe artistes wear different costumes for different shows depending on the audience they will be performing to.
Her audience in London was western. I think mum researched them and understood what they wanted.”Vesha said.
In that particular performance, Akothee wore an animal-print swimsuit and during her performance, she threw her legs in the air on stage revealing what many saw as ‘quite too much’ a photo that she posted online afterward received very mixed reactions.
Ms Vesha is a student at Strathmore University and she shared how Akothee values education and would not take it lightly if she came home with anything less than A (plain).
“She threatens to take away the cars we drive when we score lower grades in school.” Vesha shared.
Recently we shared a story where Akothee bequeathed 40% share of her company to Ms. Vesha on her 21st birthday where Vesha now serves as a director at the Akothee Safaris a tours and travel company.
