Vera Sidika claims socialite Faith Makau alias Amber Ray was never in a romantic relationship with her husband singer Brown Mauzo.
In an interview with Massawe Japanni, Vera claimed that the alleged relationship between her husband and Amber Ray was just a fling.
The socialite made it clear that her husband was already in another relationship when he was allegedly dating Amber Ray.
“During his previous relationships, he was having sex with a famous person (Amber Ray). When that was happening, he was in a relationship,” he said.
In 2019, Mauzo and Amber Ray claimed that they were dating. The two kept their ‘relationship’ a secret but were posting pictures that showed them on holiday, shopping and even hanging out together.
The relationship came several months after Amber Ray broke up with her ex-boyfriend and at a time when Brown Mauzo was trending following a photo that showed him flirting with singer Akothee.
A few months ago Amber Ray denied ever dating the husband of fellow socialite Vera Sidika.
During a question and answer session on Instagram, the mother of one boy said that what was between them was just a kiss.
Regarding whether he and Mauzo were dating, he denied the allegations and said that it was a way of hunting the show.
During that episode, a fan asked him, “Did you really come out with Mauzo or was it showbiz??”
“100% showbiz, we’ve never even kissed,” he said.
In the interview, Vera revealed that her husband’s relationship with his baby mama lasted for about 10 months before they finally broke up.
“When we met, he had broken up with his ex about 8 months ago, they were in a relationship for 10 months,” she said.
The mother of one daughter revealed that Mauzo was in her previous relationship when they first met before dating.
When the couple met for the first time about three years ago, Vera was also in other relationships and was even with the man she was dating at the time.
“Later we met when I was single and he was single,” she said.
The two then ventured into a friendly relationship for several months before they started dating.
After being in a relationship for a while and opening up about their lives, Vera realized that the singer was the man of her dreams.
“I saw that he was a different person. Brown never even drank alcohol. We used to call each other and talk from three at night to five in the morning. We were friends. We were very open,” she said.
