Vera Sidika has suggested she may never venture into marriage again even as she congratulated Zari Hassan for her union with Shakib.
Engaging her fans in an Instagram Q&A session on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, the 34-year-old opened up about her thoughts on marriage following her split from musician Brown Mauzo.
Sidika, a mother of two, shared her sentiments in response to a fan’s comment about finding love and peace in marriage like fellow socialite Zari Hassan, who married her boyfriend Shakib Cham Lutaaya last year.
“You can’t calm down like Zarithebosslady. She found love and peace,” the fan wrote.
In her candid reply, Vera congratulated Zari but made it clear that marriage was not for her.
“Good for her. I tried. It’s not for me,” she stated.

Zari and Shakib formalized their union in a private wedding in South Africa on October 3, 2023, after more than a year of dating.
In contrast, Vera’s marriage to Brown Mauzo, which began in October 2020, ended in August 2023.
Vera noted that despite her efforts, marriage did not work out for her.
Recently, Vera surprised many by throwing a lavish party to celebrate her divorce.
On her Instagram page, she shared photos and videos from the event, emphasizing her belief that marriage is a scam.
“The party to celebrate the divorce is coming, marriage is a scam,” she wrote in her Insta story.
