Vera Sidika nearly forgot she was celebrating her 10th anniversary of being a celebrity until a fan asked her a question and then it dawned on her.
During an interactive Questions and Answers (Q&A) session, a fan asked Vera how it feels like being mentioned by Tanzanian musicians in their songs.
“How do you feel when musicians especially from Tanzania mention your name in their songs?” The fan asked.
While responding to the question, Vera said she felt like a queen and bragged about how she is the most mentioned Kenyan celebrity in songs.
She further reminisced about how she rose to fame, noting that she would be celebrating 10 years of being a celeb on December 17, 2022.
“Queen. By the way I’m the most mentioned Kenyan celeb in songs. By the way I have been famous for 10 years now. Actually on 17th December I’m celebrating 10 years of fame. Wow!!! This is also my parents wedding anniversary. It’s like I was conceived on 17th December 1988 (born 9 months later) and fame came on the exact date. Just different years,” Vera Sidika wrote.
Vera Sidika shot to fame in 2012 when she featured as the main video vixen in P-Unit’s single “You Guy”. This catapulted her career to greater heights than she had ever imagined.
In 2014, she was once again featured as a video vixen in Prezzo’s single “My Gal”.
By 2014, Vera was already a millionaire and she became a household name the same year after she bleach her entire body in an operation that she claimed cost her a whopping Ksh50 million.
After the bleaching, Vera gained international fame.
The bootyful socialite has been at the forefront of Kenyan showbiz since her debut in limelight in 2012 to date.
