Vanessa Mdee and her husband Nigerian American actor Olurotimi Akinosho, known professionally as Rotimi, have decided not to show their baby’s face on social media ever.
Vee Money hooked up with Rotimi in July 2019 after they met at Essence Festival in the US. Rotimi proposed to Mdee in December 2020 after a year of dating.
The two lovebirds were blessed with their first child together in September 2021.
Rotimi and Mdee have posted several photos of their son on social media but they are always careful to hide his face.

Speaking on Instagram live, Vee Money explained why they decided not to expose their son’s face on social media even though they are celebrities.

“We are celebrities but our child never chose that. He never chose that life and it comes with a lot of things. We are giving him a chance to know himself. He is a young man. It’s not like we are hiding him, y’all know the existence of him. He is our baby, he is our heart,” said Vanessa Mdee.
The Tanzanian singer also gave reasons why Rotimi and her named his Seven Akinosho.
“In the Bible, the number seven is very important, it’s the number of completion. It’s God’s number of completion. This child signifies that to me and my husband. He is our completion and he’s a blessing from God. A true blessing.”
