Vanessa Mdee started out as a radio host and TV presenter and apparently, he almost beat Bow Wow to land a gig at the coveted BET show, 106 & Park to be the presenter at the show.
Vanessa Mdee just like her sister, Tero Mdee —she’s now a born-again Christian singing gospel music— was very good at presenting before she found her calling of being a musician which she embraced with both her hands and she has been doing that for years now, she’s never looked back ever since.
Looks like Vanessa Mdee might be going back to grace us with her perfect voice that we got used to in radio just the way she used to do back then when she was in Choice FM only this time on her podcast series dubbed ‘Deep Dive with Vanessa Mdee’.
“Storytime; In 2010 I joined 102.5 Choice FM (at the time) as the lead on-air personality and producer of a 3-hour radio show – The Hitlist. Under the mentorship of my brother @clugoe who taught me everything I know about radio.” Vanessa Mdee gave us a memory trip to how she started enjoying being a radio presenter.
Adding how Choice FM where she worked for four years changed her life and helped her see life from a different perspective ever since she joined them.
“Choice FM literally changed my life, ask anyone who’s done it – there’s nothing like LIVE RADIO. I spent 4 glorious years on the airwaves and loved the on-air education which molded the woman that I am (it was real confidence builder) and inadvertently shaped the performer that I am today.” She continued.
Vanessa Mdee who is currently dating the Nigerian-American singer/songwriter and actor, Rotimi confessed that she has indeed missed speaking with her radio fans on an intimate level just the way she used to back in the day have made a public announcement that she is coming back only this time on her podcast ‘Deep Dive with Vanessa Mdee’. She can’t wait to go live already.
