Public Service and Gender Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa gifted Akothee a necklace made of a thousand shillings notes.
Jumwa was among the high profile guest who attended Akothee’s grand wedding atĀ Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club on April 10, 2023.
A handful of politicians including nominated senator Karen Nyamu, Lang’ata MP Jalango and politicians’ spousesĀ such as Ida Odinga ā the wife of Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Dorothy Nyongāo ā Kisumuās First Lady among others attended Akothee’s wedding.
Jumwa stood out during the wedding as she got creative with the gift she gave Akothee at her wedding.
The Gender CSĀ Ā presented Akothee with a necklace made of a thousand shillings notes as she dance together with the bride and groom.
It was revealed that the notes that made-up the necklace were at least 100 ā meaning that the the necklace was worth at least Ksh100,000.
