Public Service and Gender Cabinet Secretary Aisha Jumwa gifted Akothee a necklace made of a thousand shillings notes.
Jumwa was among the high profile guest who attended Akothee’s grand wedding at Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club on April 10, 2023.
A handful of politicians including nominated senator Karen Nyamu, Lang’ata MP Jalango and politicians’ spouses such as Ida Odinga – the wife of Azimio leader Raila Odinga, Dorothy Nyong’o – Kisumu’s First Lady among others attended Akothee’s wedding.
Jumwa stood out during the wedding as she got creative with the gift she gave Akothee at her wedding.
The Gender CS presented Akothee with a necklace made of a thousand shillings notes as she dance together with the bride and groom.
It was revealed that the notes that made-up the necklace were at least 100 – meaning that the the necklace was worth at least Ksh100,000.
