President William Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto has been called out after a video of her appeared where she claims she sold smokies and kachumbari at Daystar University; where she studied.
In the video, the audience can be heard murmuring as she gives her speech as a budding entrepreneur. Charlene Ruto claims, Smokies Kachumbari was a hot cake selling like crazy.
“I was selling Smokies Kachumbari at Daystar university, na hiyo ndio kitu ilikua inauza sana” Charlene Ruto narrates her success story.
The audience responds, “mmmh mmmh mmmh, hiyo ni uongo…aaai mtoto wa Deputy President…wakenya sio wajinga bana”
Charlene Ruto has been facing acceptance challenges from Kenyans online and netizens as she grooms herself a public figure engaging with political related activities.
Recently, she was nicknamed Quickmart Ivanka after showing up in more than 31 places to campaign about climate change in a short period.
It’s not yet known when the video was recorded, and it is authenticity; but politicians have been sharing the short clip which has now gone viral.
Charlene Ruto was sharing business principles she had learned as a smokie kachumbari seller at Daystar.
