Late Ken Okoth’s brother Bernard Otieno Okoth alias Imran emerged victorious in the just concluded ODM primary, and Babu Owino has vowed to campaign for him until he clinches the Kibra constituency seat.
Imran garnered 4,382 votes to be declared as ODM’s candidate for the Kibra constituency by-election scheduled for November 7th 2019.
He defeated the likes of DJ Kris Darlin who came in a distant 5th in ODM primaries, the mix master only managed to garner 417 votes.

Babu Owino took to social media to congratulate Imran on clinching the ODM party ticket. The Embakasi East MP also sent a chilling message to Jubilee’s McDonald Mariga promising him a humiliating defeat come November 7th.
“Congratulations to Bernard okoth Imran for winning the kibra Nominations.I want to inform the public that I will be in-charge of kibra by election and I will ensure that ODM candidate Wins.Mariga hauna bahati when I’m in charge better step aside because the political wheel will molest you.Babu Owino the political Beast will crash you in the by elections.You will lose and be humiliated with your political mentor.We love you as Kenyans mariga but football loves you more,better stick to it.Umeingiza kichwa kwa matako ya ndovu ukifikiria ina asali,” wrote Babu Owino.
