Sultry singer Vivian Wambui and her sweetheart Sam West are not going to exchange vows in a white wedding anytime this year.
For starters, Sam West proposed to Vivian almost two years ago. The Hero Radio CEO-cum-comedian went down on his knee and asked for Vivian’s hand in marriage on Citizen TV’s 10 Over 10 show in April 2017.
The two lovebirds got married in a traditional wedding held on March 3rd 2018 at Vivian’s parents’ home in Kiserian, Kajiado County.
Sam West and Vivian’s white wedding was highly anticipated in 2018 but interestingly the year ended without the two exchanging vows as expected.
2019 again has come and it will go without Vivian and Sam West exchanging vows in a white wedding. The two lovebirds called off the white wedding this year after failing to agree on the ceremony’s plans.
Speaking during an interview with Showbuzz, Sam West said the white wedding is not happening this year because they have been disagreeing a lot on how the ceremony should be.
“I doubt if we will be able to wed this year as intended because we been disagreeing a lot on how the ceremony should be. Whereas I want a big colourful wedding ceremony to celebrate our love, my fiancé keeps insisting of a private wedding. I think for now we will pass and wait for next year,” said Sam West.
In early January this year, Vivian noted that she would not bow to pressure to get married in a white wedding, she said the white wedding will happen in appropriate time.
“The pressure has been real but we are keeping our lives balanced. There is no rush in these things. Sometimes it’s not all about what fans want as you still have your private life off the public limelight,” said Vivian.
