Dillish Mathews is Namibia’s most popular celebrity and model, she shot to fame in 2013 after winning Big Brother Africa (BBA) 8: The Chase.
Dillish was crowned BBA ‘The Chase’ winner on August 25th after beating 27 contestants from different countries across the African continent.
Despite being Namibian by nationality, Dillish also has Kenyan roots. Her Kenyan father Abdi Galgayo Guyo surfaced after she won BBA. Dillish had not met her Borana dad before BBA, at first she thought Guyo was just an opportunist but later she met and accepted him as her father.
Dillish has been embroiled in several scandals, she was said to be the reason why Kenyan singer Judith Nyambura Mwangi alias Avril broke up with her South African ex fiancé Leslie Mugadza. In February 2016, photos of Avril’s ex fiancé spending Valentine’s Day with Dillish went viral sparking rumors that he had broken up with the Kenyan singer.
Avril denied the rumor but two months later the Kenyan singer admitted that Leslie and her had indeed gone their separate ways. Avril was engaged to Leslie in early 2014.
Dillish was also rumored to be fooling around with Diamond Platnumz while he was still in a relationship with Zari Hassan. The rumors started in September 2017 after Diamond and Dillish were spotted together in Zanzibar.
