Irene Pancras Uwoya is a popular Tanzanian actress, producer and entrepreneur. Her career in Bongo movie begun in 2007 when the Tanzanian movie industry was still in its infancy.
Irene Uwoya is a very controversial figure in Tanzania, she has dated music heavyweight Diamond Platnumz among other celebs.
Ms Uwoya caused a stir in October 2017 when she married Bongo rapper Abdulaziz Chande alias Dogo Janja who is six years younger than her.
Dogo Janja and Irene’s marriage however didn’t stand the test of time as she cheated on him leading to their dramatic breakup in 2018.
