Joan Obwaka is Kenyan Vlogger who is popularly known by her alias Yummy Mummy.
She is a proud plus-size woman who is also a body-positive ambassador.
Sometimes in December 2018, Joan caused a stir when she stripped down to her underwear and bra to speak against how society perceives plus size women.
“Why is society always trying to change us? We are never tall enough or short enough. We are either too fat or too skinny.
We are either too much or not as much as they’d like. We are either sluts or too conservative. We are either smothering our kids or not parenting intentionally enough.
At some point, You have to stand up and say to society – There’s nothing wrong with me or my shape or my personality or who I am; you’re the one with the problem! #bodypositive #plussize #lovingme,” wrote Joan on Instagram.
Note that Joan is a married woman with two children, a boy named Ethan and a girl Mukeni.
She is currently pregnant with her third child.
