Sensational Tanzanian musician, performer, and songwriter Top In Dar (TID) was in Kenya a few days ago and he had to make a stop.
He had to make a stop at a barbershop to have his hair trimmed to look sharp and fresh, to have the look that he was hoping for, he had to pull up at Eric One Wash’s barbershop, the Royal African Barbershop that’s located in Nairobi.
In case, just in case you don’t know who Eric One Wash really is, you should get to know him. He is the only barber in town who gets to touch celebrity hair, local celebrities, international and regional celebrities, even politicians entrust their hair to him and him alone.
He has trimmed the hair of Hassan Joho, Nasty C, Sarkodie, Bahati, Alikiba, Ice Prince Zamani, Jux, Konshens, KRG Da Don, I mean the list goes on and on.
Knowing the clientele that Eric One Wash deals with, you’ll get to know and appreciate him as a celebrity barber and why he’s one of the best barbers on this side of Africa. Everybody wants to have their hair touched by him, celebrities and otherwise.

Being as humble as he can be, Eric One Wash wishes to share his spotlight with some of his protégé and he would rather have them have the spotlight than himself because he wants to mentor the new upcoming barbers.
He reiterated the importance of empowering the youth who wants to learn the craft of being a barber. He is more than ready and willing to assist them; now, the best way of uplifting them is through name-dropping by referring some of his clients to them.
At the moment he has Jaay, Jdee, Gifted, Jimmy, Ramskee and Fancy as some of his protégés who he wishes to uplift.
“All I want is to help other people grow.” Eric One Wash said, “publicity is enough for me, any chance I get, I push my people more, so that we manage to make the barbershop industry better by mentoring, branding and marketing other skilled barbers”[sic].
