Nigerian -American rapper Umar IBRAHIM also known as Thutmose has unveiled Side B of ‘Best Of Both Worlds’ EP project that features Rema, R3hab, and Bankuli.
The ‘Best Of Both Worlds’ has been inspired by his African roots and the global exposure he has received since the release of the ‘Man on Fire’ project back in 2018.
The young rapper landed a soundtrack titled ‘Memories’ on the OSCAR award-winning film Into the spider-verse.
The second installment of the EP features more Afrobeats influenced sounds and is complemented by EDM favorite, R3hab’s take on the hit single ‘Love In The Morning’ featuring Rema.
Bankulli assisted, ‘Iyawo’ is an ode and celebration of the arrival of his dream Nigerian girl into his life.
The project also includes My Maria and brand new radio favorite, Bad Boy.
Thutmose had a stellar introduction into the scene after a tour with Billie Eilish in 2017 and a debut album in 2018 that was followed by a Grammy nomination in 2019 for his presence on the soundtrack album, Spiderman:- Into The Spiderverse.
