This year Kenyans got a taste of young, energetic feel of music from the new talent called The Band Beca and their debut hit single ‘Toka’ filled our airwaves and made it a banger and they were so good that almost everyone was singing ‘Toka’ word for word. First forward to two months later, the Band Beca are back again only this time
ending the year with a bang with a new single ‘Brathe’ that’s in a nutshell championing the freedom of women who wants to have fun and win at the same time.

This street anthem is a declaration of freedom for all the ambitious and hard working ladies who want to have fun in the club and a dedication to all the ‘brothers’ out there who won’t allow the ladies to party in peace… The Band BeCa

Brathe is a sheng(slang) term for brother.
This time they took time to work with the most sort after producer in Kenya right now Cedo who also produced the now-anthem single ‘Mungu Pekee’ by Nyashinski and it turned out to be a masterpiece. This is a track that will make you want more from The Band Beca.

I love everybody who loves everybody, somebody got to love somebody at some point.
Music is something that comes natural to everybody and it's a language that everybody can understand, I understand it and that's why I speak it
fluently, do you.
