Nyeri governor Wahome Gakuru with ALliance Boys high school students

Kenyans woke up today morning to the horrific news of the demise of the Nyeri governor Wahome Gakuru after a fatal accident at Kabati near Kenol. Betty Kyallo even tweeted how she interviewed him yesterday morning.

 

The late Nyeri governor posted a photo of himself with the Alliance Boys High School KCSE Candidates including his son who is also sitting for the KCSE exams at his Runda Residence

“Earlier with Alliance Boys High School KCSE Candidates including my son at my Runda Residence in Nairobi to pray and encourage them in their final exams that kicked off today. Together with All Candidates Countrywide, i tender best wishes from myself and also on behalf of County Government of Nyeri. May our dear Lord guide you through during this period.” – governor Wahome Gakuru posted. Here are the photos of the governor with Alliance Boys High School KCSE Candidates at his house in Runda.

Governor Wahome Gakuru becomes the second Nyeri governor to die in the seat after Nderitu Gachagua died  aged 64 while receiving treatment at a London hospital early this year.
