The 17 year old soulful Kenyan-French artiste, Carine has released her first debut single Barre Toi which translates to Go Away is a pop ballad that is upbeat and catchy.
“Barre Toi is about the end of a relationship and picking up the pieces living your life without the extra baggage that comes with people who do not appreciate you, and also partly inspired by a personal experience” says Carine.
Carine started writing and performing in school while she was 15years old.
Carine’s influences are Vanessa Mdee, Stromae, Justin Beiber, Phy, Blinky Bill and Karun.
The song was produced by #Timwork and the video was directed by Moses Osidiana of Brainworks.
