Thieves who broke into a liquor store and got busted were given the option of drinking all the available alcohol or face mob justice.
A video that went viral on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, shows the moment the thieves were asked to drink alcohol they stole from a shop in South Africa.
The video was first shared by a South African journalist Velani Ludidi who stated that the thieves broke into a store and stole alcoholic drinks.
He added that when the thieves were caught a day later, the owner of the shop forced them to drink the alcoholic drinks they stole or risk being lynched by a mob.
According to reports, the culprits unlawfully entered a store, making off with alcoholic beverages valued at around 14,000 South African Rand.

In the video, the suspects were seen drinking from the bottles of the alcoholic drinks.
The the video also shows several crates of alcohol at the scene where the thieves were being forced to drink their loot.
They broke in and stole alcohol. Now they were asked to drink what they came for.
