Khaligraph Jones has taken a swipe at music band Sauti Sol following their controversial decision that has raised a furore.
Speaking during a recent interview, Khaligraph took issues with Sauti Sol’s decision to charge a staggering Ksh20,000 entry fee for their ‘last’ gig as a group.
Sauti Sol announced that they will do their last show before they part ways to allow each of them to focus on their solo projects.
The music band also said that the entrance fee for their last show will be Ksh20,000 per ticket.
Several people expressed their dissatisfaction with the fee charged by Sauti Sol.
However, Khaligraph slammed Sauti Sol for charging ‘too little’.
“To tell you the truth, Sauti Sol annoyed me a lot. Sauti Sol you let me down a lot to set that price. That is, you charge 20k, why wouldn’t you 100k? Sauti Sol are artistes who have done everything in the music industry, these guys are exemplary leaders and they are the greatest artistes that this country has ever produced,” Khaligraph said.
Khaligraph said that he would one day charge Ksh50,000 entrance fee regardless of how many people will attend.
