Crystal Palace have finally sacked their poor performing manager after only 77 days in charge of the English Premier League (EPL) club.
Frank de Boer, who took charge of Crystal Palace in June 2017, lost all four of his Premier League games without scoring; the worst start of any top-flight club in 93 years.
The Dutchman had been appointed to revamp Palace’s style of football, they wanted him to emulate his success at Ajax with the English side. He won four Eredivisie titles with the Dutch side.
De Boer was shown the door sometimes today after the club found his replacement; Crystal Palace officials have settled on former Tottenham boss Roy Hodgson to lead the club.
Sky sports reports that Hodgson is set to sign a two-year contract with Crystal Palace, apparently he is also bringing in Ray Lewington, who worked with him for England, as his assistant.
