The body of Tom Majanga was discovered beside his car on Gisambai-Mudete road at about 5am on Tuesday 22nd March 2016.
Until his death, the deceased was the principal of Bumuyange Secondary School in Vihiga County. Area chief Joseph Mavisi says the principal left his house in Gisambai past midnight informing his neighbors he was attending to an emergency in his rural Chamakanga home.
The principal’s car had a flat tyre and he was changing the wheel when he got attacked by the assailants who robbed him of his life.
The deceased’s body was discovered in the morning by a motorcycle operator who notified the police at Gisambai AP post.
The body was taken to St Monica Mortuary where an autopsy is expected to be done to determine the cause of death.
