The recent mass exodus seen at Mediamax Limited to release journalists from their company has caught a lot of Kenyans by surprise because the list has a couple of big names included as well.
This is the second mass retrenchment under a year.
The company has blamed the COVID-19, Coronavirus pandemic for the lack of good business in the company.
Mediamax retrenched over 100 employees across various departments. All sacked employees were notified through a text message.
