5 mins read

Tedd Josiah has been in the music industry/music business for decades and he has learned all the ropes there is to learn about the industry, the ins, and the outs and he has always been a supporter of new fresh music coming from established and non-established and/or upcoming artistes.

Tedd is an ardent supporter of the Wakadinali rap group that comprises Sewersydaa, Scar and Domani Munga.

Tedd Josiah is believed to have discovered Masauti way before anyone else knew all about him, that should tell you something about how talented a scout Josiah is as well.

Josiah who also owns his own record label that has seen him working with most if not all of your favorite artistes today has taken to social media to seriously condemn the Gengetone group, ETHIC Entertainment that comprises of Rekles, SWAT Mtoto wa Eunice, Seska, and Zilla.

The talented record producer and the sound engineer took to social media to publicly talk to ETHIC Entertainment after they released their recent song dubbed ‘SOKO’ that they have since brought down due to public pressure who condemned SWAT Mtoto wa Eunice’s lyrics that somewhat glorifies pedophilia.

Tedd Josiah: Wakadinali has potential, a lot of potential

Josiah is a father to an adorable daughter and as much as he usually supports most if not all of the music that is put out there and respect the new Gengetone genre that has since taken over the Kenyan music scene, he couldn’t sit this one out after he listened to the lyrics of the ‘Soko’ song.

“You’re killing an industry called the music industry of Kenya when it’s already on its knees! Why y’all wanna start talking bout raping little infants in your tracks?” Tedd Josiah wrote in part on Instagram. “Why y’all wanna make ladies our beautiful Kenyan ladies think that sex is a man’s right and if u don’t give it then u ain’t nothing? Why y’all messing things up for yourselves and all those talented kids trying to come up without stupid music or scandalous stories! Use ur talent not scandals, sex, drugs and all that nonsense you can do much better! Big brother is watching u”

Tedd Josiah addressed the Gengetone artistes in sheng (this is the very first time he talked to music artistes in sheng after a very long time), though he didn’t call out Ethic by name, he was referring to ETHIC.

“If somebody talks like that about my daughter, I am ready to go to Kamiti Maximum Prison if someone messes up with my daughter,” he said in the short clip he shared on his social media account.
