Kenyan model and artiste Tanasha Donna has spoken candidly about her experiences as a single mother, saying that becoming a parent has been the best challenge she’s ever faced.

The mother of one-year-old Naseeb Jr. shared her journey with a news station in Rwanda, ahead of the release of her new album next week.

Donna, who was previously in a relationship with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz, revealed that becoming a mother for the first time was a daunting experience, especially since she was doing it without being married.

She said that she had to learn as she went along, and that there is no manual for being a perfect mother.

“I think parenting can be a challenge, but it’s the best challenge a person can have,” she said.

“Maternity is the best thing that ever happened to me. It changed my life, and made it so that not everything was about me anymore. Now I have a purpose – what I’m doing now is about someone else.”

Donna also spoke about the challenges she faced as a single mother, saying that one of the toughest parts was adjusting to being responsible for her child’s care and well-being on her own.

She praised her father for his support, saying that he has been instrumental in helping her navigate this new role.

The model and artist also reflected on her relationship with Diamond Platnumz, saying that their relationship didn’t work out due to various reasons.

Despite this, she emphasized that she is grateful for the experience of being a mother to Naseeb Jr., who bears a striking resemblance to his father.
