He is without a shadow of doubt the longest-serving cartoonist not only in Kenya but in Africa as well to my understanding and today we are in deep shock for loosing one of the Kenyan iconic figures Kenya has ever had.
He was the father and creator of the popular ‘Juha Kalulu’ cartoon that were always on ‘Taifa Leo’ newspaper and probably the long-serving cartoonist whose real name was Edward Gitau, died aged 86 at Gatundu District Hospital.
Rest in Peace Juha Kalulu, you will surely be missed by all!
