Boomplay has put out the list of the most streamed songs this year, Swat Matire is among the few artists who got to top the chart for the most-streamed Gengetone song this year.

We all know better he wouldn’t have missed this by any chance, he’s been putting out classics through the whole of this year, from Zogo to Gari Kubwa.

Swat Matire aka Mtoto wa Eunice, founder of Gengetone music genre as part of a group called Ethic.

His emergence into the music industry was fueled after the release of their first Gengetone song dubbed ‘Lamba Lolo’, a song that would later transform his life forever. Since then he has put out more records that have gained a lot of views and reception.
